Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actress since 1983. Her film debut was the 1983 film Bad Boys, she was part members of the Brat Pack of actors. She also appeared in WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art won her the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress in a Leading Role. On April 12, in 1992 Sheedy married actor David Lansbury who is the nephew to actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury the original producer of Godspell. Beckett is their child, born in 1994. Sheedy is learning from Beckett's transgender transformation.
